R2 Certified

The non-profit Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI) sets international standards for the both the e-recycling and electronics repair industries. A three-year collaborative effort between SERI, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, numerous NGOs and OEMs produced the processes and measures that comprise R2 Standards. PC Recycle is one of about 600 R2:2013 Certified recycling facilities in the world and has maintained good standing with annual maintenance and re-certification every three years.

ISO 14001:2015

The International Organization of Standards (ISO) took a holistic approach when it set the standards for environmental management systems. E-recycling companies must demonstrate commitment to mitigating climate change and preventing toxic waste from contaminating water and soil. There must also be a concrete track record of regulatory compliance. PC Recycle’s ISO 14001:2015 certification sends a strong message to stakeholders, in that the company goes above and beyond what the law requires to do its part in protecting precious ecosystems.

ISO 9001:2015

A quality management system sets forth the standards that an organization follows in planning and executing internal operations. The International Organization of Standardization (ISO) issues ISO 9001:2015 certification to companies that consistently adhere to statutory and industry regulations, while making customer service a top priority. This certification is not exclusive to e-recycling. It is issued to companies in all industries that demonstrate excellence in their fields and continue to show improvement over a given time period.

OHSAS 18001

The British Standards Institution sets international guidelines for health and safety in the workplace. PC Recycle implemented the OHSAS 18001 system and gained certification after independent assessors approved our internal operations structure. Clients appreciate our commitment to occupational health and safety, while our employees strive for excellence to keep our certification active and in good standing.
