We are looking for an Events Manager

Event Management

  • Plan and execute multiple events throughout the year.
  • Serve as each event’s project manager, owning all logistics and overall management for events from start to finish. * Communicate professionally and efficiently with sponsors for the event including but not limited to; timelines, program updates, event deliverables, design, and run of events.
  • Work with internal marketing team to design event branding to produce creative, relevant event designs.
  • Execute each event and lead team to ensure every aspect runs smoothly including venue communications, production aspects, customer turnout, etc.
  • Manage budget through vendor contract negotiation and other cost efficient means


Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant event management experience
  • Extreme attention to detail with superior organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task multiple program changes and prioritize work efficiently
  • Motivation to think creatively and strategically, with an emphasis on managing expectations with internal and external clients
  • Excellent customer service communication skills
  • Ability to create and sustain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Interest in politics, policy, and newsworthy topics as they relate to events
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Office Administrator position based in our Newbury Park, CA location. Manage and perform all office functions from accounting and payroll to budget preparation financials (using QuickBooks).

Responsibilities and Duties

All accounting/financial functions - payroll, payroll tax returns, budgets, forecasts, monthly sales tax reports, revenue/expense input and monitoring, coordinate collections, keep management informed of financial picture; preparation of special reports as requested. Maintain office efficiency by organizing and develop procedures for maintaining all office records; design filing system, review and approve supply requisitions; assign and monitor clerical functions. Prepare Notice to Owners, Lien Waivers and other related documents. Manage all travel, lodging and transportation schedules and accommodations, as necessary.


Qualifications and skills

Advanced QuickBooks knowledge; Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; Construction Industry Experience. Eager, self-starter, highly organized. Experience preferred.
